Sister's Birthday card

Posted by Picasa
This is a birthday card that I made for my Sister.
I used the idea of the flower pot card but made it smaller to fit on the front of a card.Sorry the pictures are not great.
My niece took them with her cell phone.
We were already at Roadhouse before I realized I didn't take any pictures.
Which is some thing that I do all the time.

Birthday card

My Niece calls me tonight from Kroger's to tell me she is looking for a card for her Husbands Grandmother. She says" Nanny they don't have any pretty and specials cards here. Do you have any made up?"
I told her that I didn't but come on out and see what I could come up with.
This card only took about 20 minutes for me to make. ( Which is a really good time for me because it usually takes longer than that to decide what paper to use.) But in all fairness I already had the stuff out from working on a LO for DGD.

My Grand furbabies

These are my Grand furbabies
The cat is Binky she is about 13 year old. My son and DIL got her when my Grandson was a baby. He is 15 now. He is the one that named her Binky. This is Buddy he is about 10 or 11 years old, he is a good dog he just wants me to touch him when I go to their house.

This is Andy, I forget his formal name. He was a rescued Greyhound, from a rescue place in another State, maybe VA.
My son and DIL adopted him about 6 or 7 years ago. He was a racing Greyhound that had won some races until he got hurt.
All the things that they told my Son that Greyhounds couldn't do....well Andy can. He is a good dog too.
I love this pose of Andy, my Son calls it the sphinx pose.

I have one more Grandfurbaby that is a black Lab name Jack. He belongs to my youngest Son.
I don't have a recent picture of him. I must get my Son to send me one.

This is my Brother in law who is an amazing and talented artist. Now he wouldn't agree but look at some of the replica's that he has made and let me know if you agree, This is a bow and arrow
case that he made for his Grandson for his eleventh birthday.I just wanted to let some of you see what an amazing talent he really has.

These are some items that my Brother in law has been making for awhile now.

This is a knife he made from a piece of metal and it has a bone handle I believe.

These were some items he had on his dresser. He does unbelievable work..

Most everything he makes he uses the same patterns the Native Americans used.

another knife with deer horn stand.

This is a replica of a ceremonial mask and a smokin Tomahawk replica with all the beading done by Brother in law.

Powder horn replicas made with the real horns, he does all the carving and leather work also.

This is a possibles bag is what I think he told me. He made this out of Elk hide and did the beadwork. Native American used these to keep stuff in that they wanted to keep dry.
It is amazing work.

A fan and rattle with peyote stitch bead work,

Crow style gun case made from hide with bead work.

Breastplate replica made from the same type of materials that the Native Americans used back then.

Same as above just a better picture.

This is a picture of a barn across
the street from where I live.

My son took this picture while he came up
to shovel me out. He thought that it made a neat
picture.

Here is an ornament that I did with circles cut at
3" and the snowmen are a MS punch as well as the
branches and of course the drippy goo punch.
I just cut out 3" circles in white cut them in half and
then used the Drippy goo punch.
I think I got the idea from someone on the Cricut MB.
You can't see them very well but I put beads at the top and bottom.

MS Trellis Border punch

This is the new Martha Stewart Trellis Border punch I got a few days ago at Michael's....
I love this punch I can see it used many different way.

New MS punches

Here is another new punch from Martha Stewart.
It is the Doily Lace Punch, I love love love this punch. I punch some ribbon strips and put them on card topper so you could see the size better. I also put a regular size punch here so you can see the size difference in those as well. These are A2 card tops. ( I realize the color is a little washed out but the bottom paper is suppose to be peach.
